“Farm Machinery to Feed the World”

Since 25 years the Club of Bologna convenes annually the leading international experts on farm machinery and agricultural mechanization in order to discuss strategic subjects for the development of the agricultural machinery at worldwide level.

In view of the theme of the Expo 2015 "Feeding the planet, energy for live" the Club of Bologna will meet in an open meeting in order to emphasize and discuss the leading role that agricultural mechanization can play on addressing the future challenge of providing adequate and sustainable food supplies to the planet.

During the meeting academics, researchers and industry experts will highlight how most advanced technology in mechanization can significantly contribute to the sustainability and security of agricultural production, while the diffusion of simple and cheap machines for developing countries is an essential condition in order to guarantee rural development and food security.

The  Meeting of the Club of Bologna is organized in close collaboration with the “World Food  Research and Innovation Forum” (www.worldfoodforum.eu) that will take place the next two days, 22 and 23 September 2015, at the Italian Pavilion.

To attend the event registration is needed and it includes free access ticket for the 21 September (strictly for Open Meeting participant).

The participation to the Open Meeting is free of charge but participants need online registration.
