Our Full Member Prof. Hermann Auernhammer (Technical University of Munich - TUM; https://www.tum.de/en/) informed us about the possibility of free access to "AgTecCollection in mediaTUM" at https://mediatum.ub.tum.de/agteccollection.
It is a very interesting database concerning Agricultural Machinery and Mechanization sector, very useful for all the people (manufacturers, consultants, experts, students) interested in this topic and with visits from more than 140 Countries worldwide.

Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization - Open FAO seminar

Gender-responsive mechanization and business innovation through farmer FFS and SAM
The fourth webinar in the series, “Advancing Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization through Farmer Field Schools for small-scale producers” will be organized on Tuesday 02 December 2025; 10:30–12:00 CET.
The webinar will spotlight practical approaches to overcome gender-related barriers in mechanization and highlight how FFS can catalyze inclusive innovation. Country examples from Bangladesh, the Philippines, Rwanda, Uganda, and Palestine will showcase lessons learned and good practices that link gender equality, sustainable agricultural mechanization, and entrepreneurship.

Management Committee decisions (10 Oct 2025)

Management Committee (MC): 9 MC Members and 2 Past-Presidents (PP) had its first meeting in presence on 10 October in Bari (AGRILEVANTE)
Communication activities: to improve communication among MC Members will be created: (i) a chat-group, (ii) a shared folder on cloud. Roberto Oberti will support Marco Fiala (Secretry General) and Patrizia Menicucci (Administrative Secretary, FederUnacoma) in communication task. CoB website and CoB LinkedIn group must be boosted.
CoB Members: 5 Full Members (FM) were deleted, due to their low attendance in past years (excluding the Covid period). 3 Pellizzi Prize 2020 - IV Edition winnners (Christian Birkmann, DEU; Hao Gan, USA; Xin Zhang, USA), after five years hosted in CoB, were confirmed as FM. Welcome and congratulations to all these young new Members! Currently, CoB Members are 103 (11 MC, 3 PP, 82 FM, 4 Pellizzi Prize 2024 Winners), representing 29 Countries, 7 Federations/Associations, 16 Organizations. Efforts to identify potential new Members, particularly in world areas currently not represented.
Internal Rules: no changes have been made to the current text.
35^th CoB Members' Meeting: will be held in Bologna (13-14 November, 2026), in occasion of “EIMA International” exhibition. Topics: Session 1: Maechanization for Emerging Countries; Session2: Conservative Soil Tillage, (iii) Special Mechanization (sector to be defined).
Study Group (SGR): SGR2 Dissemination was dismissed. Giuseppe Gavioli, coordinator of SGR5 Collaboration between University and Industry, presented the internal working teams and the SGR aims. SGRs activities and results must be update and disseminate.
Pellizzi Prize: the next VI Edition was approved and scheduled for 35^th Members' meeting in Bologna. The award "Notice and Forms" will be published up to 31 Jan 2026 and te terms of application is 31 May 2026.

CoB: new President and new Management Committee !!

According to the CoB’s Internal Rules, FederUnacoma appointed - for the period November 2024 - November 2027 - the new President of the "Club of Bologna" and the new Management Committee.

Presidency was assumed by Danilo Monarca (Univesity "la Tuscia", Viterbo - Italy), who appointed as Secretary General Marco Fiala (University "La Statale" of Milan - Italy).

Management Committee (MC) is now composed of: Giuseppe Gavioli (ITA), Paolo Gay (ITA), Roberto Oberti (ITA), Peter Schulze-Lammers (DEU), Peter Pickel (DEU), Deun Choi (USA), Spyros Fountas (GRC), Benno Pichelaimer (DEU). The FederUnacoma Delegate in the MC is: Fabio Ricci (ITA).

As Invited Members, the Past Presidents are also part of the MC: Ettore Gasparetto (ITA), Luigi Bodria (ITA) and Paolo Balsari (ITA).

A big and heartfelt thanks to the previous President and MC Members and a wish for fruitful work to the new!
